2009/2010
MOTTO: ACHIEVEMENT FOR EVERY STUDENT
- The Butte County Joint School District will provide highly qualified and effective teaching and learning opportunities for all students to promote and support their academic achievement.
· We will develop and implement a district-wide staff development program based upon established best practices, which will enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of staff necessary to support students in meeting required achievement standards and high school graduation requirements.
· We will annually meet or exceed expected state growth targets, as measured by the ISAT in grades 3 – 10.
- The Butte County Joint School District will provide a safe, orderly, nurturing learning environment where staff, students, and patrons participate in a school program valuing respect for self and others and which develops student responsibility.
- The Butte County Joint School District will maintain fiscally responsible management practices to ensure financial stability, using a well-planned budget to provide effective academic opportunities supporting student achievement, to recruit and retain highly qualified staff, and maintain safe and learning friendly facilities.
· We will develop and implement energy efficient strategies to conserve district resources.
· We will maintain a conservative budget, in preparation for a possible state hold back.
